1929: Lily and Kurt back together, shortly before their wedding in Hannover. Can't you tell by the smile on her face?

July 25, 1929, after their honeymoon in the Hartz Mtns., Kurt and Lily are sailing to New York, and on to their new home in Los Angeles, CA.

Lily stands next to the Chevy they bought to drive from NY to LA. This is outside of their new apartment on St. Andrews Pl. in Hollywood.

As a new arrival to America, Lily sent this photo of the Colorado St. Bridge in Pasadena to her mother back in Germany.

The families get together for bridge Circa 1931. L-R Louis Rehfisch, Gertrude Weinlaub, Adolph Weinlaub, and Berthe Rehfisch.

The Sterns, family friends of the parents of Lily. I love the look, the wardrobe and their dog in the center. This is in the huge park behind Hannover "Neue Rathaus" or new City Hall.

Winter 1930-1931. Edith and Willie Weinlaub in the city park in Hannover. This was a family outing during the solo trip home that Lily took.

Again the same family outing. This time young Edith stands in front of Gertrude and Adolph Weinlaub.

A more formal shot of Gertrude, Adolph and granddaughter, Edith, during their Hannover Park outing while Lily was visiting.
How wonderful that you have all these photos. I enjoyed wending my way through this part of the story.
